We start at Market Weighton, and head North Easterly, stopping at Driffield at lunchtime, and finally ending up on the coast at Bridlington. Durham Dales Sunday 5th October 2008 Entry Fee: £45 per vehicle BRAND NEW EVENT FOR 2008. Starting in the far South of the Wear Valley, our route through the Dales of County Durham takes us North through Weardale and Derwentside, before briefly leaving Durham at the end of the day. Wensleydale ONLY 1 PLACE REMAINING Sunday 26th October 2008 Entry Fee: £45 per vehicle Our day starts in Leyburn, and we start with old tracks across mine workings, before heading along Wensleydale's ancient trails and roman roads with superb views across the Dales. Eden District Sunday 16th November 2008 Entry Fee: £45 per vehicle This event returns for 2008, after being rested last year. Eden District lies between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. Our route starts with rocky climbs and tight corners, but as we head further East, the route opens out as we drive farm tracks, river crossings, and ancient roads past historic castle sites. Tynedale Sunday 7th December 2008 Entry Fee: £45 per vehicle A single day greenlaning event in Tynedale District. We start at Hexham, and finish at Alston. This is Hadrians Wall country, and we'll pass many sites of Roman fortresses and camps as we drive near the course of the ancient wall. North York Moors XMAS EVE SPECIAL WEDNESDAY 24th December 2008 Entry Fee: £45 per vehicle A single day greenlaning event in the North York Moors National Park. We drive around the Cleveland Hills and Eskdale areas on a circular route, which takes in a remote moorland Inn at lunchtime. We start over on the West coast, and head inland using mountain tracks, forest lanes and rocky trails.
